Happiness System:

This system is created for Happiness evolutions such as: Pichu and Riolu.

This system is fairly simple, all pokemon will start neutral to you upon capture, meaning they will be at 50% happiness. Obviously this goes from 0%-100%, and it is actually very easy to keep your pokemon happy. All happiness is determined upon the outcome of battles and how you treat your pokemon. If you win a battle it goes up 10% with each win. However if you lose a battle it drops 20%, so make sure if your pokemon is looking a bit tired and the opponent sends out a fresh, level 50 skarmory, that you rethink your battle strategy. Now this doesn't only apply to trainer battles but wild battles as well.

Not all pokemon have to keep track of this system, just the ones you need to have evolve. Now once you have your pokemon at 100% happiness you must then level it up again for it to evolve. Meaning if you're at 90% and beat a pokemon to get to 100%, it does not evolve. You must then fight and level up again while your pokemon is at 100% for said pokemon to evolve. This presents a risk, if you lose that 100% battle your pokemon drops to 80%.
