It had been a while since Gin had been here, but it was nice to return. On his shoulder was his trusty partner, Monferno, who he had named Kazaru. The two of them had been traveling together for quite some time now, and they had even managed to make a rival or two. The one they were expecting to see, however, was the boy named Blake. Gin was standing at the very spot where the two males had last trained together, a nice leveled area where there were no rocks on the battle field, but there were a few giant rocks outside of the soon to be battlefield. To be honest, all of this would probably become their battlefield. Anyways, Gin stood there with the Fire/Fighting Type Pokemon on his shoulder and waited for the arrival of their Rival.

This was rather cool. Blake was walking with Croconaw to the famous Mt. Kaiumi where he had last met a friendemy of his by the name of Gin. The two had a trainer session here before and this time it wasn't training. It was more on the serious side but the two would be friends about it. As the two met the hill Croconaw looked at Blake and started dancing around, This led Blake to facepalm and just keep walking but this time laughing on the inside. As they made their way up the hill Blake took his jacket off and put it in his bookbag because it started getting really hot and Croconaw just started teasing Blake by spewing water in the air and drinking it back again. Once he saw his rival Niiro Blake started waving at him but Croconaw started getting angry when he saw Monferno.... Those two were like the opposite of Blake and Gin but that was something you'll see later. Croconaw stepped up and Blake spoke "Ready Gin?"

Blake had finally arrived, along with his partner Croconaw of course. It had been a good while since they last saw each other, but he was sure that they had got some good training in because they seemed to have grown a little stronger since then. It was time to put them to the test. Gin then said, "Ready as I'll ever be." He then grabbed one of his Poke Balls, clicked the button on it to enlarge the ball, and threw it out into the air. Before it would have reached the ground, the ball opened up and out of it came the Trainer's Pokemon known as Cranidos. Unlike the rest of his Pokemon, Cranidos was the only one that didn't have a nickname; this was fine though. The ball flew back into Gin's hand and he said, "Let's do this, Blake." The three of them, Gin, the Monferno on his shoulder, and the Cranidos that was on the battlefield, awaited the arrival of the boy's first choice.

Blake heard Gin response before he tossed his pokeball and nodded. Followed by this Gin released his first pokemon which showed to be a Cranidos. Blake smiled and scanned the creature with his pokedex before looking at Croconaw who was eager to get involved Blake teased him before speaking but then he did speak "Croco let someone else get this one ok little buddy?" Croconaw crossed his arms and went to lay down on the floor of course this made Blake chuckle a little bit but he had to stay focused. He pulled a tiny pokeball off his wrist and spun it around his finger as it enlarged and opened revealing Blake's first pokemon which proved to be Scizor. The bug warrior looked back at Blake readying himself for Battle but you know Blake's response already "Scizor silver wind" Scizor nodded as he leaped into the air and sent out a couple white waves of wind towards the Cranidos.

Gin smiled as he saw that his rival had a new Pokemon, and this was good cause he had never fought against a Scizor before. He got out his trust Poke Dex and checked up on some information on the Scizor really quick and he figured out its type. Just like his new Pokemon, it was a Bug/Steel type. The red head Trainer figured that since it was a bug Pokemon, it would be hurt by Rock Type attacks. It was time to find out. Once Blake had given his command to the Scizor, Gin had then said, "Cranidos, use Rock Polish." The Rock Type Pokemon then shined a little bit before running off to dodge the two attacks by the Scizor. Rock Polish was a type of technique to make the Pokemon speed up, which would work out good in this situation. Gin then commanded, "Use Stone Edge." After saying that, the Rock Type had stopped, faced the back of the Scizor, and stones appeared all around the body of the Cranidos, then fired at the Bug/Steel type with an incredible speed. Gin was already getting excited. It was going to be a good battle.

Well this fight was looking pretty cool. Blake was expecting this Cranidos to be a good fight and he was right... The little Cranidos came up behind Scizor right after an attack and started forming rocks around himself. Blake looked on in confusion because he hadn't known this move but he was damn sure gonna stop it "Now Scizor" Scizor smiled as his hands began to glow and he turned his head half way just so he could see a rock hit him in the face which caused him to get angry and fly through all the rocks in a fancy manner seeing how he only took regular damage from them. With his anger and momentum Scizor used his bullet punch to hit the Cranidos out of the sky and onto the ground straight on his back... LIKE A BAWS

Gin had noticed that the battle was already heating up, and the two Pokemon were definitely enjoying the battle. With an intense battle between Pokemon, their trainers were getting excited too. After seeing the Scizor take one of those hits to the face, he also saw that Cranidos had took a direct hit too. It wasn't good that the attack was super-effective, but it mattered not. It still seemed like the Rock Type would be able to keep going. So what the red head would try to do is push the Fossil Pokemon as hard as possible so they could try to at least put a dent into this damned Steel/Bug Type. Gin looked to his Cranidos and said, Use Stone Edge again." The Pokemon nodded as the stones appeared around it and circled its body. Before anything else could happen, the Cranidos had fired off a round of the stones, each one hitting the Scizor dead on, and knocking it straight out of the sky and onto the ground. Such a powerful move could have possibly ended this battle, but Gin doubted it very much so. He then said to the Cranidos, just to make sure, "Use Rock Polish." They were not going down without a fight, that was for sure.

Things were getting intense and Blake enjoyed every moment of it... As he looked to the side and saw Croconaw catching zzzz's he laughed and the Croc continued to snore. Blake shook his head as he turned back to the action. As he watched his Scizor get hit with that stone-edge move Blake got kinda angry but Scizor didn't take much damage from it.. Shit could still go his way. Now that Scizor had hit the floor he wanted to get some revenge. Blake wondered what move Scizor could use to send this battle back into his favor and Blake thought of one right then and there "Scizor.... X-SCISSOR NOW" Scizor went into the sky a little and crossed his arms before soaring down to the Cranidos with intent to end the battle here and now.

The more and more the two Pokemon attacked, the more and more intense this battle was getting. Gin was actually surprised that the Cranidos had survived as long as it did simply because he knew that it was much weaker than the Scizor; well the Scizor had some levels on the Rock type, and the trainer could tell. He figured that he might as well go in this one head on, so the red haired trainer quickly thought up something and said, "Use Stone Edge and Take Down together." So the Cranidos jumped back a few feet as rocks formed all around its body, circling its dinosaur like body, and it charged at the Scizor. The Fossil Pokemon had combined two of its attacks, and this was something the trainer and his Pokemon were good at because he was also a Coordinator. Anyways, the two Pokemon had ended up clashing into each other, the combo attack overpowering the attack of the Scizor, but the combination move had a drawback. A small explosion was caused from the two attacks meeting each other, so a cloud of dust was surrounding the two Pokemon. After the cloud had cleared, Gin could see that his Cranidos had fainted, but he wasn't sure about the Scizor. They may have survived this longer if he hadn't used Take Down, but it was in the past now. He returned the Pokemon to its Poke Ball, and waited for the smoke to clear before he brought out his next Pokemon.

Well this was rather interesting... The little Cranidos proved to be a challenge as he got his footing and launched his own counter assault against Scizor. As the two collided a big cloud of smoke appeared due to a minor explosion due to some recoil most likely. Blake simply shielded his eyes as he watched the smoke blow past him and he witnessed it clear and Cranidos proved to be no match for Scizor but he damn sure got some damage in.... Scizor stood up and wiped his mouth off he started banging on his chest as he flew into the sky and landed near his commander Blake smirked a little bit as he looked over at Croconaw who still appeared to be sleeping on the sideline but Scizor simple shrugged it off as Blake spoke "Ehhh Niiro.. whos next my friend?"

Total Word Count: 1723
3 levels for Cranidos and Scizor

And in that moment where Gin saw that the Scizor was still up and kicking, he knew that it had to go down now. The trainer had looked to the monkey Pokemon that was on his shoulder, and it already knew what was about to go down. It leaped off of the boy's shoulder and landed on the battlefield. Before anything else could happen, Gin had said, "Use Mach Punch then Flamethrower." The Monferno then disappeared. You would think that the Pokemon named Kazaru would be trying to go for both attacks to hit, but it wasn't like that at all. Monferno just needed to have speed over the Scizor right now, and that was all that mattered. It had reappeared behind the Steel/Bug Type Pokemon, and had released a Flamethrower on the creature that had caused it to flying straight into a large stone that was right outside of the battlefield. Just from that one attack, the over-sized stone had crumbled. Monferno then started to do some rapid punches in the air, signifying that it was ready to finish this little battle between itself and the Scizor if there was even a battle left between the two of them. Gin simply watched from his little area of the battlefield. What would happen next?

And things always change and never remain the same.... As Scizor stood waiting for his next opponent Blake was not surprised when he saw it being the Monferno that Blake has come to know and somewhat like.. That little fire-type had a fire like no other and Blake enjoyed his company when they were enemies. Anyway as he came up behind Scizor with a little trick the bug/steel pokemon was caught off guard and blasted straight into a wall with some serious damage. As he looked at Blake from the floor he stood up and walked over to Blake before falling back down fainting. Darn shame really he had a drive like no other so Blake respected him and placed him back into his pokeball. His next pokemon would be a surprise as he gently placed the pokeball on the floor and rolled it a red beam shot out releasing what seemed to be a scared little creature known as Shelgon as he started to look around he ran back over to Blake and started running around his feet before stopping trying to put on a tough face.. Blake started laughing as he tried to speak "Shel.. HAHAH. Gon little buddy show Monferno what you got" Shelgon looked up at Blake as he began to slowly walk over to Monferno before blasting him with a giant gale of water that would knock him back some distance ... Not a full powered hydro pump but Shelgon was still learning soo yea.

Gin watched as the Scizor walked right back to Blake as if it still had some fight left in it only to fall right in front of the trainer. Gin personally believed that something like that would be somewhat depressing to him if the Pokemon had enough energy left to walk all that way to him, but not try and fight some more. He didn't say anything about it though; he didn't want to ruin the mood of the battle. The next surprising Pokemon that the boy had was one called Shelgon. Gin truly didn't believe that Blake could catch a Pokemon like that and, although he was surprised, he was somewhat proud of the trainer. He knew for sure that it was time to get serious, but he didn't believe that the Pokemon was anywhere evolving again... which was good. Before they had time to declare another attack, the Monferno was sent soaring through the sky and landing right in front of Gin. The red head had looked to the monkey then to the dragon and really couldn't believe that a creature like that could use such a powerful attack that wasn't of its element. Gin looked back to the Monferno and could that that it was almost ready to give up, but it wasn't done yet. Gin had cracked his neck and said, "Fight mode. Use Mach Punch twice." The Monferno then shifted its entire stance and disappeared. It reappeared in front of the Shelgon, using the first Mach Punch in like the form of an uppercut, connecting and flipping the Dragon Type Pokemon on its back. With the second one, it disappeared once more, but when it reappeared, it was thrusting its fist at the stomach of the creature. Monferno was truly trying to win here. Gin could see its determination.

As Blake watched Shelgon blast back his foe in a funny fashion he wondered what was gonna happen next.. BOOM Monferno was fine but he did look a little shaken up by that attack, He hadn't really expected it and especially from a Shelgon. That mistake could happen to anyway BUT on to the next one As Monferno launched back at Shelgon the little dragon pokemon tried to run but was hit and knocked on his back only for him to get stuck on his back trying to get away but he couldn't up and was hit against thus flying back to Blake K.O'd.. That was sad and Blake didn't really stress it. He rubbed Shelgons belly as he sent him back into his pokeball. Next thing next Blake looked at Croconaw and kicked him thus waking him up. Croconaw started yelling at Blake in his own language and Blake just looked at him and pointed to Monferno who was laughing at him somewhat. Croconaw then got serious before walking up and jumping into the leer shooting a watergun at the Monferno hoping to hit him.

What was this? A comeback? Team Gin was now winning with 2 wins to 1, and it was very surprising that the Monferno actually was capable of defeating the Shelgon. He didn't believe the monkey was cocky about this at all, it was just glad to have another win underneath its belt. It did know, though, that if it were to fight again with another disadvantage like that, it would most likely faint. He actually had a feeling about what Pokemon that Blake was going to call out next. He was for sure thinking that it would be Croconaw, and, fair enough, it was. Gin didn't really think that the Monferno should faint right there. He then noticed that the Water type was preparing to use a Water Gun, so he quickly got out the Monferno's Poke Ball, returned the Fire/Fighting type Pokemon, and put the ball away; this had allowed the Monferno to dodge the attack but just barely. That was the first time in a while that Gin had put Kazaru in its Poke Ball. It was somewhat awkward. He then threw out another ball, and out came Lorda the Servine. Gin, had a feeling that this might be a good battle. He then said, "Use Attract." The Grass Type, female Pokemon had then some kind of cutesy pose and winked at the Croconaw. It was the Servine's attempt at trying to seduce the Water Type.

Blake watched as Croconaw used his watergun against Monferno and Gin did something Blake really wasn't expecting which was put Monferno in his pokeball. Blake's eyes literally opened up all the way because he thought Gin never did that so of course Blake figured that Monferno's condition from that hydro pump was severe thus Blake started plotting ahead of time and watched Gin toss out his new pokemon which proved to be a Servine. Blake had never seen one of these in person so he scanned it with his pokedex just incase BUT YEA now back to the matters at hand. Croconaw started laughing as he stepped up and got hit in the face with a heart. He fell in love with the Servine right then and there. Blake facepalmed as he withdrew his Croconaw instantly he would be saved for later. But now Blake knew it was time to bring out one of his stars which so happened to be something Servine could handle. "Elekid destroy the scene" with those words Blake tossed a pokeball containing his Elekid which came out beating his chest. He the charged Servine with a fire punch by jumping into the air coming down with it.
