Personality: Shin is the kind of person to not really care about things, unless they directly involve him. This has been evident ever since he was a kid because of the lifestyle he had, which didn’t appeal to him at all. When it comes to pokemon he searches out for those who he feels are the strongest or that he can make strong, which will lead others to think that he is a cruel trainer that only cares for strength but he actuality he cares deeply for his pokemon.

History: Shin was born into an average family, he has a Mother, Father and a Older Sister. His Mother is a top breeder in the region, no one can compare to her. His Father was once a Gym Leader in the Kanto region, but after the attack of Team Rocket he retired, he respects and highly admires all Poison type pokemon. His Sister has been on her journey for a few years now, she writes to him monthly.
It was always hinted that his father was involved in much more than just being a gym leader as evidenced by his lavish life style and what not however Shin never asked and choose to remain oblivious to his father’s line of work. Eventually he found his way to the Kaiju region with a Torchic that he had recieved from his mother as a coming of age present. Eager to prove his strength Shin set off on his journey to find and train only the strongest of pokemon even though he himself favors the fighting type
